Is the Zoho Books integration two-way?
Yes. Accounts, tax rates, items, contacts, currencies and tags sync from Zoho Books into tofu, and reviewed extractions publish straight back to Zoho Books as AP bills, AR invoices, expenses and bank statements, with tax treatment and tags applied.
How do I activate the Zoho Books integration?
The integration is live, so you can connect it yourself. Go to Entity Settings, select Integrations, click Add New Integration and choose Zoho Books. Accept the access request, pick your Zoho Books organisation and click Activate.
What happens if a document has a contact that isn't in Zoho Books yet?
tofu creates it for you, so you're not stuck adding it by hand in Zoho Books before you can move on with the extraction.
Can tofu auto-assign Zoho Books tags?
Yes. tofie reads your Zoho tag configuration, including scope and level, and assigns the right tag automatically during extraction. Correct a tag once and tofie learns for next time, at the entity level.
How do I move extractions into Zoho Books?
Review the extraction in tofu and click Publish, or select several in the Extractions panel and use Bulk Publish. AP bills, AR invoices, receipts, expenses and bank statements all publish straight into Zoho Books, and each one links to its Zoho Books record. If you prefer an import workflow, the Zoho Books CSV templates are still available.
Can tofu process invoices in Arabic and other non-Latin scripts?
Yes. tofu supports 200+ languages including Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Malay and Hindi, with English shown alongside the original text during review. No language selection required.
