Which regions does the Sage integration support?
Sage Business Cloud Accounting (GAC) is supported in the UK, Ireland and Canada. On Sage 50, Sage 300 or Sage UBS, tofu exports files ready to import instead.
How does tofu connect to Sage Business Cloud Accounting?
Log in to your Sage account and pick the organisation you want to connect. tofu reads your accounts, tax rates, items, contacts, currencies and tags straight away.
What syncs from Sage into tofu?
Your accounts, tax rates, items, contacts, currencies and tags, so you can pick the right account or tax rate during review without switching tabs. Add something new in Sage, click Sync, and it shows up in tofu.
What happens if a document has a contact that isn't in Sage yet?
tofu creates it for you, so a missing contact never blocks an extraction. Sage needs an address on every contact, so add or edit it in tofu before you publish.
Can tofu publish directly to Sage?
Yes. Review the extraction in tofu, then publish AP bills, AR invoices and direct expenses straight into Sage, one at a time or in bulk. Bank statements still use a Sage CSV export and import.
How does the AI learn my Sage coding preferences?
tofu learns from your existing Sage transaction history, so it codes correctly from the first document. Every correction trains it further, and accuracy typically reaches 95%+ by the third invoice from the same supplier.
